And that’s exactly what strikes you when picking up the T1/09 – the skeletonized dial underlayer shows a sun-drenched beach, deck chair beckoning, while in the water and cheeky whale ogles keenly a lobster – and all this under the munificent rays of the SEVENFRIDAY SUN no less!
The sense of cheerfulness and optimism are further enhanced by a generous dollop of white Berlac lacquer on the bezel itself and a dab of yellow on the crown for good measure too! Importantly the T1/09 remains first and foremost a SEVENFRIDAY, with its distinctive stainless-steel case and four-layer dial construction.
And just to make sure you understand this watch is made for summer and wet fun, it comes with a soft blue silicone strap and is waterproof to 30 meters, needed if you want to snorkel around the whale and lobster’s burgeoning idyll! So in our case Cetacean and Crustacean as opposed to Coquillages et Crustaces! But BB would agree: the beach is no longer abandoned!
